Stage 6

The final stage cumulated in a 6km ascent of a mountain near Abergavenny. The racing was fast and furious what with the sprints jersey still up for grabs. Thomas and Cleaver both tried to clinch it but were outwitted by returning ex-pro and ex National Champion Julian Winn.

At the end Thomas still had the strength to finish 12th after some sterling teamwork by Biggs and Green up the final climb. That catapulted him up to 3rd overall - a great result and also the team ended up 2nd overall.
